It was 28th July 2010 which is also Candy’s 22nd birthday. As it is also 2 years anniversary for my last time been to Majlis Daerah Simpang Renggam. I remembered last year I did post a blog stated 1st year anniversary of my trip been there on 28 July 2008. Here I would not forget to describe it again as it’s 2 years anniversary today.
As early as 9am on 28 July 2008, Shelley Kong, Jovie Low and me took a ride to southern region of Peninsula Malaysia which is Johore State’s Simpang Renggam that located 32km north from Johore Bharu. It took us 3.5 hours to reach the destination from K.L.
Then we started 5 days Government Audit for Majlis Daerah Simpang Renggam. It’s a quite tough to audit it as I’m a newbie that time as I just joined the audit firm in June 2008.
However, under the 2 seniors guidance I felt so comfortable to perform audit work in Simpang Renggam. That time, every day I woke up at 6am and slept at 10.30pm. One thing I still remember till now is that sometimes my eyes closed down during photostating papers as I knew it was due to sickness I had last time. It’s called Narcolepsy which means sometimes our brain will ordered our eyes to closed down for few minutes then it ok back.
Throughout the 5 days audit in Simpang Renggam I had a great moments there specially the Government Officers are very cooperative and helpful whenever we need them to provide us audit evidence or documents which we required as well.
Every noon they will spent us lunch at specific MDSR hawker stall which further show their friendliness and generosity. At the last day which is 1 August 2008, we finished our audit and the officers gave us few packs of keropok as souvenir.
Even is 2 years passed the day, I still remembered the 5 days in Simpang Renggam vividly. I promised I will further post more about this date in future years ahead and I hope after 10 years I still posting this day of blog.
